Q of the Week Question: How do you do long division? I never get it! Answer- All you have to do is start with one number with. Such as in 234/2. 2 goes into 2 one time. The first number is 1. Two goes into 3, 1 time. The number is now 11. 3-2=1 so you add the one to 4 and that makes 14. 2 goes into 14, 7 times. now you have 117. To check your answer, you could multiply 117*2 and that'll give you 234. For more help, click here. |
